How to create a one-off job

Let’s talk about how to create a one-off job. With Check, you can create as many one-off jobs as you want completely free!

Every job is assigned to a client, so make sure you’ve set up clients before you try to add a job.

Adding a One-off Job

  1. Tap on the "Jobs Tab" at the bottom of your screen.
  2. Tap on the "Plus Button" in the lower-right corner of your screen.
  3. Select a client.
  4. Select "One Time," which just means we're creating a job that we do… ONE TIME.
  5. Choose the date of the job.
  6. Select (or add) the services that will be included in this job. Keep these short and professional since all services that are selected will appear on the client’s invoice.
  7. Set the price for the job. This is the total amount of the services combined.
  8. Add any job-specific notes. Client and Property notes will automatically show up in the job notes even if you leave this blank.
  9. Review the details and tap the "Add Job" button.

Note: The Recurring Job option is included with Check Pro for only $20/month. With this feature, you get to customize the frequency that you want the job to be repeated at, and when you complete a job, the next one will be automatically scheduled for you.
