How to add and edit your services

Let’s talk about how to add services. Every business is different, that’s why Check allows you to create as many custom service offerings as you need, whether that’s lawn mowing, snow removal or pool cleaning.

There are a few places you can add a service.

  • When you're adding a job.
  • In a job's detail screen.
  • In your Account Settings.

In this article we'll cover how to add a service from your Account Settings.

Adding a Service

  1. Open your account settings by tapping the menu icon in the upper-left corner of your screen.
  2. Select "Services" from the menu.
  3. Tap the "Add New" button.
  4. Enter the service name. Since these will show up on client invoices, make sure to spell and capitalize your services correctly.
  5. Tap "Add" to save the service.

Editing a Service

  1. Open your account settings by tapping the menu icon in the upper-left corner of your screen.
  2. Select "Services" from the menu.
  3. Tap "Edit" to the right of the service you want to change.
  4. Make the desired edit and tap "Confirm" or tap "Delete" if you would like to permanently remove this service.
