Let’s talk about how to add your clients so you can keep your operation organized. Everything in Check starts with and runs off of your clients’ information which you can find in the Clients tab at the bottom of your screen. You can add as many clients as you want to Check for free!
Note: We take your privacy and your clients’ privacy very seriously. We don’t store any of your contacts’ information unless you specifically import them into Check and we never sell yours or your client’s contact information. Our mission is to champion you, the operator, so your info is safe with us.
Aside from enabling you to keep your client information in one place and stay organized, the client information we collect also serves a purpose within Check.
Name: The name is required. Since this will show up on all of your client’s invoices, we recommend you don’t enter a nickname like “Susan’s neighbor." Enter their first and last name with correct capitalization so you look professional.
Email: If you have their email, great! If not, don’t worry. You can use the client's email to send them invoices, however, you can also send invoices through SMS if you have their phone number.
Phone: Their phone number is used to send SMS invoices and notifications. We recommend adding their cell phone number because land line numbers will not receive text messages.
