Block to compete in Memphis against top startups from around the world.
Block announced that it has won the People’s Choice Award for the “Productivity, Logistics, Advertising, Legal” category in the 7th Annual Startup of the Year Global Competition & Summit from October 14 -16. The Summit took place in Downtown Memphis and the seventh annual installment of the event saw 100 startups from around the globe showcase their game-changing products and services to seasoned investors, corporate accelerators and innovators, and industry leaders.
Companies from a wide range of industries competed for top honors in 5 different People’s Choice categories. Block will join the ranks of great companies that have passed through their events over the past decade such as GrubHub, ShearShare, Maxwell Health, Groupon and Uber.
